who, what, why

On Friday, May 4, 2018, the Greater Boston EMDRIA Regional Group is pleased to present a three-hour workshop on The I-Gaze Interweave Part 2 for Attachment Repair in EMDR Therapy  by Barry Litt, MFT.   If you missed Part 1, you can still attend to learn the I-Gaze Interweave.  Click here for our workshop announcement and online registration.

Greater Boston EMDRIA is our local EMDRIA Regional Network. It was created to foster community, support, and learning to help EMDR clinicians grow in their mastery of EMDR and the dynamic and exciting uses of it.  To receive announcements on our programs, please sign up here.

We encourage EMDR therapists in greater Boston to also join our free listserv where you can connect with others to:

  • make or receive EMDR referrals
  • announce and share information about EMDR trainings
  • set up peer supervision groups, study groups and consultation groups
  • share information on books and other EMDR resources
  • ask clinical and administrative EMDR related questions

Greater Boston EMDRIA programs are nonprofit. Fees are kept low and are to cover costs only.  Our Regional Coordinators, Barbara Gold Marks, LICSW and Sheryl Knopf, LICSW are EMDRIA Certified Therapists who organize local meetings to bring EMDR practitioners together. These are a chance to get to know the EMDR practitioners in our area and to develop a community. Participants have the opportunity to learn and to earn EMDRIA Credits which are required for status as an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant in EMDR.

Participants in the Regional Networks are not required to join EMDRIA. It is expected, however, that participants be trained in basic EMDR methods from an EMDRIA approved training.
